A few weeks ago (sorry I am so far behind), I decided to teach Christen how to make homemade noodles from scratch. My third grade teacher taught my class and my Dad actually helped that day. Ever since this has been one of our specialties in my family which I hope to pass on to my children. Once you try it, there is nothing that compares. It tastes wonderful and not actually that hard. I have always told the kids that this is "Mommy's play dough". Aren't we all kids at heart? Christen did really well first flouring the dough just right.
Then you roll it through the pasta maker several times until it is very thin. Wonderful job, Christen.

Next time we will work on learning on how to cut the dough into noodles. She is becoming quite a cook now.
