God is really working in our church here!!! I mentioned earlier that we have been praying about our church beginning an AWANA program. Using an interest survey, we had 25 adults sign up to serve in this great children's ministry. Tonight we had voted in favor of going forward with starting AWANA this fall. We also have several key leadership positions filled already. We are planning to have our leaders attend training in August, and order supplies and try to begin AWANA sometime in September. Please continue to pray for all these details to get completed soon.
Since we have arrived we have also had ten people come to accept Christ as their Savior and ten baptisms as well! We have four more baptisms scheduled for next week. This will make four weeks in a row with baptisms. The Lord is really working in the hearts of the people here. What a blessing!!!!!! God is good -- All the time!!!!
